Gluten-Free Chapati/Roti (4 Pieces)

It is my great pleasure to bring you the definitive recipe for an easy and perfect gluten-free chapati/roti using the brand new Gluten-Free Flour by Schär and PureFoods!

Ingredients:

1/2 Cup Schär & PureFoods Gluten-Free Flour

1/3 Cup Warm Water

A Pinch of Salt

Method:

Add all ingredients to a bowl and knead into a solid dough ball (it should take around 5 minutes of kneading in order to get a soft and pliable dough). Divide the dough into 4 equal parts once it is ready. Next, spread a little dry flour on your preferred rolling surface. Make smooth balls of the 4 parts of dough and roll them into round equally sized 6 inch wide chapatis/tortillas. Place down your chapati on a hot griddle or “tawa” and cook on both sides until small bubbles begin to form. Then, place it directly onto the flame for a few seconds to complete your perfect gluten-free chapati!
